Magic the Card Game                     Magic
Magic is a popular card game. We have our storytime room available for those who like to play Magic on every other Wednesday from 5-8. The dates for the month of  March are  Wednesday the 3rd and the 17th and the 31st.

Nerd Night                                Nerd Night

Our next board game night will be on Thursday, March 4th from 5-8. We will be playing a varitey of games and if you have a game that is your favorite bring it along for all to play!

Scrapbooking    scrapbook flower

From 3-5 on Thursday, March 11th we will be creating your own scrapbook.  We will be making a small take away scrapbook. All of the supplies are provided by the Portalnd District Library but you do have to bring your own pictures.  You need to register for this event  because we only have 9 spots available. Video Game Tournament

Our next video game tournament will be held on March 18th from 6-8. The game is to be announced!


 Teen Book Club                                                                   October Sky


The next book club will meet on March 19th from 3-4. We are reading the book October Sky by Homer H. Hickman Jr.  
In this story Hickam, the author, tells the story of growing up in a dying mining town during the time when technology is  just becoming popular. In the book October Sky a group of  boys titled "the Rocket boys"  turn mine scraps into rockets that soar miles into the sky.
