Portland District Library
Friends
of the Library
What
does the Friends group do?
The Friends
of the Library is an
organization that helps raise funds to
purchase materials and equipment
that are beyond the library budget. One way we do this is
by sponsoring
programs for the purpose of raising funds for equipment, books, and
activities that are normally beyond the tax-supported
budget.
