Make a Splash @ Home!
Sign up for the Summer Reading Program take home program starting Tuesday, June 8 through Saturday, June 26th.
The take home program lasts 6 weeks. Each week that your child completes the reading goal return to the library with their record sheet and receive a prize from a local business. When they have completed their reading goal for 4 of the 6 weeks they are then eligible for a special end of the program party to recognize their dedication to reading.
*The first week to turn in your reading log/journal will be the week of June 14th. *
Make a Splash @ the Library
The drop-in* programs for the Summer Reading Program will start the week of June 14th and conclude the week of July 19th. The programs will include songs, stories, games and crafts. We will have four a different sessions.
Polliwogs: children aged 3-5 and will be held on Tuesdays from 1:00-1:30
Turtles: children, who have just completed Developmental Kindergarten and Kindergarten and will meet on Thursdays from 1:00 to 1:45
Crocs: children who have just completed 1st and 2nd grade and will meet on Thursdays from2:30-3:15.
Makos (sharks): children who have just completed the 3rd through 5th grades and they will meet on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:15.
* You do not have to sign up for the drop-in programs. Just sign up at the appropriate times.
