The Help is set in Mississippi in the 1960's . It is the story of three woman who start out to write a book but end up making a difference. These women forever change a town and the way women- mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends- view each other. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope. The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.
